Nicholas Losada

was born in Florida in the USA. He began his dance training at the New World School of the Arts in Miami and completed it at San Francisco Ballet School.

In 2012/2013 he received a scholarship from the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich and went on to join the ensemble of the Bavarian State Ballet and the Bavarian State Ballet II as a trainee for the 2013/2014 season. In July 2014 he became a full member of the corps de ballet, dancing in choreographies by Sharon Eyal, John Neumeier, George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Aszure Barton, Jiří Kylián and Russel Maliphant. In 2016 he participated in the restaging of the Pina Bausch piece "For the children of yesterday, today and tomorrow". In 2018, he joined Gauthier Dance in Stuttgart, where he worked with choreographers including William Forsythe, Marco Goecke, Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Adonis Foniadakis and Richard Siegal.

After two seasons with Gauthier Dance, he returned to the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich in 2020/2021, before joining the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season following a successful audition.
