Letizia Galloni

began her training at the Paris Opera Ballet School in 2001 and joined the corps de ballet of the Paris Opera Ballet in 2009. She was promoted to coryphée in 2011 and achieved the rank of sujet in 2019. She has performed in many of the great ballets of the classical repertoire, including in Giselle by Jean Coralli / Jules Perrot, Cendrillon by Rudolf Nureyev and Paquita by Pierre Lacotte, in which she took on soloist roles in the Arabian dance. She danced in Rudolf Nureyev’s production of The Nutcracker and interpreted the pas de trois and the dance of the four big swans in Rudolf Nureyev's Swan Lake. As a soloist, she danced Lise in La Fille mal gardée by Frederick Ashton, the Chosen One in The Rite of Spring by Pina Bausch, and Carmen by Mats Ek.

She has performed in pieces by contemporary choreographers including Mats Ek (A sort of, Appartement), Angelin Preljocaj (Siddharta, Le Parc), William Forsythe (Pas / Parts), Pina Bausch (Orpheus and Eurydice, The Rite of Spring), Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker (Rain, Drumming, Verklärte Nacht) and Benjamin Millepied (Together Alone). She has also worked with Wayne McGregor, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Damien Jalet, Alan Lucien Oyen and Crystal Pite.

She has been a member of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch since the 2022/2023 season.
