Michael Strecker

born in Lower Saxony, studied dance at the Hanover University of Music. He worked in Osnabrück with Joel Schnee, in the US, and for many years in Amsterdam with the Dansgroup Krisztina de Châtel with Conny Janssen and Kevin Wynn among others. He has been a permanent member of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch ensemble since 1996. He has danced in pieces by Theo Clinkard and Dimitris Papaioannou. He took part in the large-scale participatory projects of Boris Charmatz.
