Cora Frost

As an actor, dance, performer and director she has worked with the likes of Hans Kresnik, at the Theater im Marstall, Munich, with Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola at Radialsystem, Berlin, with Hanna Hegenscheidt at the Sophiensäle in Berlin, and with film directors Rudolf Thome and Christian Frosch. She founded the duo Frost/Thumser, and the bands Goats go Vegas and the Zucker&Butterband, the groups Brides on the Run, the Frostfamilie, the Allianz zur Erforschung menschlichen Glücks and the Frostlabor. She also joined the puppet and human music-theatre group Helmi, with whom she toured Brasil. Her most recent works were the production of her own play 'Die Bucht der dicken Kinder' at the Sophiensäle; the performative music show 'Zeit ist ein Arschloch' with Gert Thumser at Ballhaus Ost, Berlin; the piece 'Mars Attacks' with the Swiss theatre group Hora and with Helmi, in Zurich and Berne; a reconstruction work about the dancer Anita Berber in collaboration with MS Schrittmacher; 'Männer in Garagen', a festival in garage yards in Pankow, Berlin, in collaboration with the Sophiensäle; she created the soloshow 'Showgirls – 'Ich bin etwas jähzornig weißt du. Das ist nur meine Unsicherheit. Du bist ein liebes Äffchen' at the Schauspielhaus Graz and a piece based on Pasolini’s 'The Hawks and the Sparrows', together with Helmi, guests, puppets and music at Ballhaus, Ost, Berlin.

Cora Frost tours her show ‘Peter Frost und Size 45: Love me – How wolves can change rivers' and other chanson shows throughout Germany. In 2017 she publicised the festival 'The Future is f*e*m*al*e*' at the Sophiensäle.
